Early season, bright red skin, white flesh.

A strikingly beautiful round all-purpose potato, very similar in all regards to the red-skinned standard Dark Red Norland, but more uniform in size and shape, with a deeper red color that stays vibrant in field heat and in storage. Matures about a week later than Norland. Developed in a breeding collaboration between North Dakota and UMaine, and named for the great, now-retired, UMaine breeder Gregory Porter. Resistant to black spot, rhizoctonia and scab.

One pound of seed will usually plant 5–8 row feet, depending on the variety; 10# will usually plant 50 row feet.

Shipping
